Why We Built This Site
North Carolina makes many court records publicly accessible, but the route can be unclear. Yadkin’s unified Clerk of Superior Court maintains local trial-court records, while the North Carolina eCourts Portal provides the statewide public Case Summary search. This resource gathers those official channels, explains the difference between a Case Summary and a certified record, and identifies the court division that commonly handles each type of matter.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guidance: official paths for criminal dockets and civil dockets.
- Settings: the court calendar, Search Hearings, and date-confirmation routes.
- Case searches: a case search by name or case number through eCourts.
- Records requests: how court records and certified copies reach the Clerk.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not a North Carolina court, Clerk office, or government service. We cannot retrieve official files, change a setting, alter a case, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. The official court or Clerk must handle those actions.
Only the Clerk of Superior Court or the court maintaining the record can provide an official or certified copy. Confirm important docket information directly with that office.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain third-party search widgets. Those providers operate their own services and set their own terms and pricing. Their presence does not make this resource a court database or change the need to verify a record with the originating court or Clerk.
